The Scorch Elves, also referred to as Sun Elves or Desert Elves, are a very fierce and regal race within the Court of Riches. They breathe elegance and command luxury. With gold lining their clothes and gemstones adorning their jewelry, they practically shine in their benevolent sunlight. The Scorch Elves believe their ancestors were born from the sun, or rather, it’s light. They look at the sun as their God, a deity that protects them from harm and blesses them with good fortune. They are rumored to be the last living race within the Court of Riches that knows the magic of alchemy. If they do know it, they hide it well, but many believe it is the secret to their mass wealth. Scorch Elves are known for being incredible dancers, and will often be seen performing for other rich people at parties and festivals, even within other courts. Captivated by their exotic beauty and sensual dancing, they manage to be loved wherever they go. They thoroughly enjoy indulgence in pleasure, whether that be the mingling of bodies or the consumption of fine delicacies. They prefer to use their wealth to have fun, to enjoy life, and to live in luxurious comfort. They don’t do well when having to camp outside, or if any task requires them to get dirty. They tend to look down on others within the Court of Riches, but if you manage to earn their favor, you'll find them to be intoxicating and addicting company.

Their appearance includes skin tones ranging from a deep, rich brown to a dark, velvety black, and their eyes are often a striking shade of gold or amber. They possess a slender and lithe build, with a natural fluidity in their movements that speaks to their innate grace.
