Lupinians are a more recent-born race within Xandara. Around a thousand years ago, there was a large nomadic shifter tribe of lycans who lived in the deserts of Valencia. They believed that mating with wild direwolves would give the next generation of lycans greater strength and power. Their belief was true, but it came in a form they did not expect. Caught in a configuration between shifter and wolf, a new breed was born- the Lupinians. They are unable to shift into a wolf or a more human-like image. Instead, they are a constant canine humanoid. With this new breed came new strengths that far surpass their lycan ancestors. After many generations, their presence in Xandara was made officially known, and their race continued to grow and prosper in Valencia. They commonly prefer to live with their own kind, in packs ranging in numbers between two and twenty-four members. They are also capable of creating unique bonds with their packmates, allowing them to communicate through the mind.

 

Their appearance consists of natural colored furs with patterns closely resembling their direwolf ancestors, they have sharply pointed ears with a canine head, eye colors typically range between yellows, reds, oranges, browns, and blues, they have a more human-like hand structure while their feet resemble wolf paws, they have claws on their fingers and toes, males can grow up to 7ft tall while females typically only grow to about 6ft.
