Thought to be myth, these ancient beings are not found under the bed of children, nor do they burn in the light of day. The Dhampir are a proud and noble line of near mortal beings and are held in high regard in the Court of Shadows. While their short temper and ravenous hunger has tarnished their name, they are the most intelligent out of those who call the Court of Shadows home. Excessive breeding has prevented recent generations the ability to shapeshift or grow wings, though, the sharp dagger like talons, canine teeth, and thirst for blood remain from ancient bloodlines. The Dhampir are incredibly charismatic, and are known to have an unseen effect on people's minds. Because of their need to drink blood to sustain themselves, most Xandarians fear the Dhampir, and will even try to kill them on sight if they feel remotely threatened. After hundreds of years of being seen as monsters, there are very few good natured Dhampir in Xandara. Using their fierce intelligence, master charisma, and sultry demeanor, they are capable of obtaining almost anything they set their mind to.

The appearance of the Dhampir include long flowing hair with any natural colored hue, sharp canines, long claw-like nails, pointy or round ears, red or yellow eyes that glow in the shadows, and stunning facial features often used to lure their prey.
